I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. The A/C light is not coming on unless I turn it to "Max A/C". From what I read in the manual, the Max A/C pulls cold air from the inside. So does the Defrost and the foot/defrost, however the light is not turning on when it is in this position.
Now when I have the cold air on, it seems like it is cold even though it is hot outside, but you definately feel the difference when the Max A/C is on.
I haven't had a chance to drive it that much since my wife has been driving it. I just got around to having a look at it today. It stopped working properly about a week ago.
Any help would be great.
