Hey y'all finally managed to get enough money for 4 new mud tires. I just wanted to know what sizes do yall have on your explorers. I have a 06 Ford Explorer 2wd (turxx 2.5inch in the front) the current size is 245/65r17 I want to go bigger. The max size without rubbing. In these two pictures you can tell the I need bigger tires. Y'all please help as soon as possible.

I have 285-70-17 from my 03 EB that i am using on my 09 EB.

no rubbing but i doubt you could go larger, cant even get a finger between the tire and the upper ball joint!!!

Related question; In the 3rd gens the largest tire that will fit in the spare tire carrier is 265 give or take some. I would assume this is the same for the 4th gens, correct?
