Maximun tire width

on my 98 xlt what is the widest tire i can go wiht still bieng able to turn my weels fully.
just wanted to know

I don't know for sure, but I do know that both Steeda and Saleen use 255 width tires.

The Steeda has 17x9 Cobra R's, but I don't know if they push it to the limit. You might be able to use wider rims.

I own a 99 Eddie Bauer 4x4 with 265/60/R18
Yokohama AVS ST Tires and 18 x 8.5 Azev G
Wheels.

Tires and Wheels fit perfect and look great.

My brother put 17 x 8.5 Azev H Wheels and
265/60/R17 Yokohama Tires.

Hey rgomez, was wondering if your brothers front tires scrape his sway bars? I have a 99 4door with 275x60x17 and they scrape when I turn to the extreme left or right. On the rear they have scraped my brake cables, I had to bend them farther in. I'm considering 265x60x17 like your brothers. Has he had any of these problems with his? Thanks.

265/60/R17 y just fine...I recomend you
the Yokohama AVS ST...It's a great tire
On-Road and Off-Road.
