I am needing a memory seat module that came in an Explorer Limited. I believe the one I need is for years 1994 to 1997. Does anyone know if there is another module that will interchange with that one? Maybe a car or expedition, etc? Your help is appreciated.

You live in Phoenix, there will be about 500 junkyard in a 50 mile proximity with around 50 explorers from those years at each yard. My guess is, you shouldnt have a problem locating a module!!! :D

You are forgetting one very important detail. The memory seat option was only available on the Limited. Those are very rare and far between. I did find one...but the yard wouldn't separate it from the seat...and he wanted a fortune for the seat.

Depending on the year, some town car modules will work with a bit of rewiring. what year explorer do you have? And also, do you currently own a limited or wanting to upgrade to memory seats?

I have a 99 Eddie Bauer that I added memory seats. I believe I added the wiring harness and module from a 95 or 96 model Limited. I need to look into the Town Car and see what I can find there. That might be a good idea as long as it will accept the motor position sensors.

It appears there was a change in connectors/modules around 1998 for the Explorer. The older Crown Vic/Mercury Marquis/Town Car modules from around 1995 appear to be correct, but without having the wiring diagrams for one of those cars, I can't tell for sure. I'm not sure the connectors are correct. That would mean I would need the harnesses as well. If anyone knows where I can pick up a module AND the seat and body harness for a 99 Explorer, I'm interested.
