When trying to get the MFT to play a playlist, it can never play anything. So today I said "Browse all playlists"

The voice comes back and says "no playlists can be found".... WTF

However if I go thru the screens to Ipod>> Explore Device>> I have 2 options "Music" or "Explore Device"

Clicking on either one brings to Music, Playlists, Artists etc..

Clicking on Playlists and there are 40-70 playlists displayed that I can manually click and scroll on...

Any ideas as to what the issue is?

Say USB, then say, PLAY PLAYLIST MY TOP RATED or something. it works for me.

I have tried 2 Ipods.

USB or IPOD> Browse all playlists or play playlist Country, or XXXX gets a message saying no artists/ albums playlists whatever.

Are you using iTunes to keep your music organized? What version of MFT is loaded?

I have the exact same problem. I'll say "play playlist xxxx' and it says no playlists found. Or I'll say "play genre country' and it plays my comedy tracks.

I've tried multiple ipods (classic, video, nano, iphone 4) and it doesnt work. I've tried using the SYNC MyItunes program to make sure the metadata is correct, but no go. I have a very clean, organized library as well so that shouldn't be it.

It seems as if the only genre i can't get to work is country. If I say "play genre rap' it works well.

SYNC even says to me 'playing genre country' and it plays the comedy songs.

I've tried contacting MyFord Touch support by phone with no help given. Corey can you look into this?
