MFT Updates?! Happens every 30 mins

Anyone get this?

My MFT turns off every 30 mins and comes back w/ this. Been doing this for about a month now. Very annoying. I plan on taking it in soon, but I just got back from Vacation.



Please excuse the fingerprints!

I tried removing Fuse 29 for while to reset it. I even Erased and set everything back to factory default.

Someone on the forums said it might have to have the MFT reflashed.

You're the first person to report this. Just kidding!

Your timing is good though because a new version of MFT (2.11) is being released this week. If your dealer doesn't already have 2.11, they will soon.

Oh, and clean your screen already!

Could be your phone stopped working correctly and caused the sync system to crash. I had the same problem except it happened because it would pair with my phone and crash. I then set the phone to only show contacts from the SIM card. Then everything stopped crashing.

Go get 2.11 I used to get that. It is probably caused by a USB or phone. Don't get it anymore, haven't had it since they reflashed it in April. Cheers

I'm going to recommend a trip to your dealer as well! If you can't get in to see your dealer anytime soon, feel free to private message me with your VIN and all of the media devices/phones you have connected. I may have a trick or two up my sleeve.

Mine still crashes and I get that screen with version 2.11.

I did not have a USB device paired to the systam and I did not have a phone paired either. Mine probably crashes due to the navigation system locking up all the time.

I'm just gonna guess that your "media hub" needs replacing - Loganfilms was replaced and his nav fault screens disappeared. Probably a bad SD card reader.
