I was hoping to bring out a set of Baja Claws to Moab to show em off, no such luck though. I've heard almost nothing but great reviews in magazines, etc. The only bad thing I have heard about these tires is that the treads only go one way so there is little to keep the vehicle from sliding sideways. I think thats been discussed as a future add-on, for now I hear some people just take the old grinder out, make some grooves to give them stabilization both directions. I believe the Mickey Thompson Explorer has 31" Baja Claws on it. I hope to be puttingon some Baja Claws as soon as my Baja Belted HP's wear out.
Hey guys,
The August issue of Four Wheel + Offroad has a blub about the Claws. It says the two newest sizes, 35x15.5 and 38x15.5, are out and have three center circumference grooves to increase lateral traction. It doesn't say if the smaller sizes now have these grooves, too.
