Ok I have a 98 exploroer sport, everything pretty well stock. Now I was looking at upgrading the tires, and I was looking at Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX or the Baja Belted (I am looking at these based upon there looks). I am planning on doing very little, to no off roading, so I was wondering if 1 either of these tires are good for just daily driving, 2 what size should I get, and 3 how much should I be paying for these. Oh yeah and if anyone has anyother reccomendations for tires please let me know, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Mark

Well, I think that if you do nothing but daily driving, you will hate the baja belted. They are the loudest tires and they ride pretty harsh. Plus, you won't get any milage out of them.
The Radial MTX's are a lot better for street driving because they are a radial and are much quieter. They will last longer as well.
I would highly recommend the BFG All Terrain KO's for their looks as well as road manners. The best all around tire made in my opinion. You could probably stuff 31's in there with little or no rubbing. Good luck with your choices.

PS. Go with the BFG's

yeah

go with the bfg a/t KOs or if you want a really aggressive tire the bfg m/t are decent in highway and street i personally havent upgraded yet but a common size to upgrade to is 31x10.5 or 30x9.5 expect to pay about 100-135 for these just the tire alone

MTX's wear quickly

I'm only going to get about 35K miles from mine. They also Chunk easily. My best tires were BFG A/T's (45K).

Actually 30k

I checked my milage and I'll be lucky to get 30K on the MTX's.
