I can't belive this is still considered a active club... I haven't seen or talked to a local Explorer owner in over 8 mths... hang in there guys. :chug:

Its because you are a web wheeler :nono:

I'd like to be more than a "web wheeler" but I can't seem to find anyone to go anywhere with that owns an explorer.

I'm not quite as high as you yet, but I've just put on a few inches in suspension and only live a couple miles from your parents.

We should have just went through some of the flooding there in Ada. I would suppose that would count.

Shoot, I don't even own an Explorer anymore... lift for the 250 should be coming within the next couple months. :chug:

What lift? Trying to figure out which one I want to do. Thought about a 3" body and 35s but I don't like body lifts, but it wouldn't alter the ride and towing qualities. If I go suspension then I have to get airbags, and that will be a couple more years when I finish grad school. But I will be needing new tires later this summer so I thought 3" body and 315/75s.....

Depending on what we sell the house for, I am either going with the Skyjacker 4" with rear springs or the Rough Country 4" with rear blocks. This will never go offroad, so the Rough Country lift will work fine. Tires are going to be 305/16s on some crome spokes. Nothing fancy, but enough to get me up above the other 250s out there. By only going with 305s I won't loose too much mpg since it has 4.10s.

I have also been thinking of just doing the 2.5" Rough Country and 305/16s... like I said alot depends on what we get for the house.

we put the 285/75s on dads and now he is an inch taller. I want to sit higher, I need to sit higher. I want the 4" Edge kit. Suposed to ride the best and since she will not for a very long time (can't ever say never) see off road I want the one that rides the best. But thats gonna be a while before I can afford it and I have nothing to sell :(. Just looking for BL pics of newer SDs on 35s.

Ha! I actually never drove through that, I wouldn't even have known if someone wouldn't have told me. I drove through some EGR flooding daily on my way to work though. Still trying to find some good offroading around here. Did some tag-team roading in Jasonville Farms with my friend one day after we did some work on his X. It was basically a huge field with hidden surprises.

There hasnt been a reply in a long time is there anyone form Ohio on this thread?

maybe after the 10th anniversary run, this "club" will become more active and the site will come back to life. There isnt many of us around though. in my town somewhere, there is a guy with a roof basket, grill/tail light guards, but no lift or anything. and theres a kid my age in chicago(saw him driving around) with rock crawlers on stock tires, but no lift or anything, and every other jeep i see is on a 4" lift with 33 or 35 bfg mt's
