I replaced my Exhaust recently, The Right Cat had holes and was starting to get loud and sound like a Clunker..
I still have the original O2's on there. Research say the 4-Wire type last from 60-to 100k. I'm well over 100k. I'm not getting any errors, but I think it might be time.

The Engine is noticeably running better now that the Exhaust leaks are gone..

Have some data. I went on a regular trip where I would need to fuel up before I made it home.
I ended up replacing all 4-O2 Sensors along with a Fuel Filter and Air Filter.. Went on the trip and made it home with Fuel to spare..

For perspective, I had the Air Conditioning on the whole time. Speeds were up to 90 but averaged 80-85 in the flow of traffic.. But never below 70. I was able to get 400 miles on 1 tank which is 18 mpg. That's the best I ever recorded..

Final Data is 19 mpg. The tank take 22.5 and I put in 21 / by 399..
Pretty good for going with the flow of traffic..

For the speeds you are traveling, 19 mpg for a 4.0L 3rd gen is excellent.

I don't think the parts added a High Performance benefit..
I think it's more of this is what happens when everything is as it was intended..

But it anyone was interested, here's the part#'s for the O2's These were what I could get at the time I ordered. The different part numbered Denso's only differ in the length of the Wire Harness. Each side is not the same.. They are approved for Flex Fuel Engines..

And 2 Walkers Upstream..

Affordable, but getting the old ones off is the challenge!

One last follow up for control on this 23 year old vehicle.. LOL
'Did another trip.. Mostly all highway miles.. Had to do a bit of a detour and creep in a traffic jam along the way for a bit..
But same as last time; Air Conditioning on the whole time and haulin' ass 90+mph where traffic was really moving. Hit 94 at one point..

This time I probably ran it to the limit without running out gas. 408.2 miles on the trip and put in 21.28 gallons..
19.18 mpg..
