Ok so i was given a 99 Limited, and i have a 99 2dr XLT i think....not sure if its XL or XLT....anyways, i stripped the limited to put things on my explorer....
I ripped out the sub and amp
Overhead console
center diag console
TPS
IAC
MAF
Headlights
Tails
Front bumper with fogs
Heated Mirrors
Wheels
My question for this thread is about the mirrors....
i tried looking on here but couldn't find my answers....
I have the plain power mirrors, how do i convert to the heat mirrors w/ Puddle light?
bolt them on and plug into stock harness? ok so that give me powered mirrors, how do i hook them up to become heated mirrors? Which wires do i have to tap into my rear window defrost switch so it heats up? and also will just plugging the mirror into the stock socket allow the puddle light to work?
If not how can i activate puddle light when the door is opened and unlocked/locked....usually the puddle lights come on when you unlock the vehicle...
