MisMatched Speakers

I had 4 Pioneer 3-way 6x8s and I am exchanging a pair because one of them was blown. No best buys in my area have these speakers anymore, so i was wondering about mismatching speakers. Any reccomendations of another pair of speakers I can put in to match up well with what I have? Thanks

Walmart should have those Pioneers or 3way Jensens that aren't as crisp, but do the job. You could move the Pioneers from the backseats to the front and put the Jensens in the rear and you shouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I agree with Alec. You could go with a different brand -- just try to keep the same materials. If your current Pioneers have poly woofers and titanium tweeters (for example), buy a different brand of the same material if you can't find the Pioneers. If you do not get 3-ways, you might want to move the Pioneer 3-ways up front.
