Is going with mls headgasket and studs going to be enough for supercharger application?it's my understanding that 4.0 sohc come with mls from factory. I've already gone through two sets. One on my old motor. Had 200,000 miles so I can't complain there. But my new motor has less than 50,000 miles and I've got oil in my radiator.
I have been sticking around 6 psi through a Magnison mp90 at it so I'm not really surprised they let go, but I don't want to have same problem again. Are the aftermarket mls headgasket' s any better or is moving to copper my next move?
I'm definitely going with headstuds while I've got it torn down. Any help would be appreciated.

Go with ARP studs and Felpro gaskets.
I replied to your message with the part numbers I used, probably same for your engine since it is a 4.0 SOHC.
I would love to see a picture of the Magnusion on your sport track!

Not sure how to add pictures on here. I'll try later.

That's a cool looking set up!
Where did you get all the custom parts?
I see the custom plenum behind the supercharger(never saw that design before),
and the lower intake, where did that come from?
Then there is the EGR tube, that's not factory.
Cool stuff, I also like the winch. That should help if you get stuck in some mud.

i knew as soon as you saw that, your eyes were going to get bigger then your wallet lol

I built all the parts myself. The actual blower snout was two inches longer as well. Cut it down and welded it back up to keep machining down to a minimum.

Nice work!
ARP head studs and those high performance Felpro gaskets should hold, I have pinned my boost gauge at 20 psi and no problems.
Keep the rpm's down to stock.
