I recently bought a 2005 Explorer that says it has a Sirius capable stock receiver installed. I want to keep the stock stereo for now and have Sirius integrated into the current system.
My problem is that I don't want to take it back to the dealership to pay through the nose on Ford add on components/parts and install.
I contacted a local aftermarket audio install place in the area and they said they 'might' have the right components and they could 'try'. $300. - $400. for them to try it out, maybe it works maybe it doesn't.
I searched all over online for ways to buy the Ford parts I need. I found some on Ebay Canada, but have no clue whether they are the parts I need.
If I had access to the part numbers that I need, it would be a lot easier.
Anybody have any good ideas?
