Moab 2008 Chat Thread : May 30-June 1 2008

Wakesk8er, by all means the Moab is open to stock or stock modified! Generally speaking there are trails for most any 4x. As plans develop and groups are identified, just research the trails and those who ran them recently and look forward to an awesome trip.

sounds good! coming from the midwest, anything other than a muddy cornfield has seemed pretty extreme..haha!! i met up with brett(hokie) on thursday when he was headed thru town to pick up his girlfriend and he was talking about the trip to ouray and how sweet it was. he's going to help me with a body lift to fit my 33s i just squeezed on last night, so i'm excited to get it dirty

Jenni, you're going to LOVE Moab if you get to go. There are going to be a lot of us "SuperStock" vehicles and we had a blast last year. The rocks have way more than enough traction and just a little ground clearance goes a long way on most trails.

You bet she is. She is the only one crazy enough to ride with me on the trails she makes a good spotter and is alot of fun. When the beer boys mooned her from the other truck coming back from the branding iron all she wanted to do was catch back up to them and return the favor

I am halfway ready. I got a used front dif with 4.56's, now need them for the rear. And then another fun filled trip across Missouri and Kansas watching T-Storms and tornadoes!!! Hoping to meet up with the Colorado crew this year and roll out to Moab with the group.

I start my internship in Charleston, SC on Monday June 2nd so it looks like the Mounty won't be seeing any Moab action.

Unless someone on the front range wants to buy a Moab/Ouray, CO ready Mounty
