Mudd*****, I'll talk to Gerald and see if I can get the list, then I'll post it on the Moab sign up thread, or we will post a Moab Itinerary thread.

canyonlands

Canyonlands offers a cabin that goes for $31 a night for 1-2 people then $3 per additional person plus $1 for cable, at least thats what I understood from there home page anyway, I am going to call them tomorrow and fidn out for sure, that would be a great deal!!!!

Gerald, I am wanting to do Golden Spike this year, so count me in to run with you that day. I have the Trails I want to do already laid out.

I haven't chimed in yet on this because I'm not sure where I will be by then.
I do plan on going but may not have an explorer to ride with. Will anyone have a passenger seat open in case? I'd like to take my truck if I can't take the Explorer, but I don't want to do stocker trails since everyone else will be doing the big dawg runs :).
I haven't signed up officially yet because I just don't know where the explorer will be at for this trip...

Dude I will take ya! :D The thing with me will be the whole wedding the next week or whenever it is... So I am not sure if Maranda will even want to go or not. We will have to talk a bit, but I am 50% positive I am going at this point... LOL That don't say much do it?

yeah good point. Hopefully there won't be any wedding preparations needed that weekend eh? :). I'm sure someone will have a passenger seat if I need one. Or I may just take the F-150 and do some stocker runs.

I've started work on the Itinerary thread

Everyone grab your Moab book and start figuring out what you would be interested in doing for runs. I've already said I'll lead Metal Masher one day and I also want to run two trails I have not gone on yet (Golden Spike and Seven Mile Rim) with whomever might be interested in those.

Also if anyone has a favorite Moab photo they would like me to "dress up" the itin thread with, post it here. I'll put a couple of them in the thread to whet our appetites.

I'll be making my resv at the Silver Sage this weekend.

Let's hear from everyone and get some ideas what we are going to do on the trails. What do you want to run? Kris has already said he's up for Golden Spike too. STOCKERS: we've got quite a few stockers now that have Moab experience and I'd like to hear from them about where they'd like to run now, or where they would be willing to trailboss other stockers.

Regarding dinner, I am working on a different place for Saturday night's group dinner; a great place that Peter, Lee, and I enjoyed during the 2001 Moab Colors Run. If that doesn't work out, we'll get the Branding Iron again. I know Matt is lusting to hear some lesbian karaoke again, LOL :D

Heh heh... Some plans may be a boilin over here in the mid west... Pete and roll over Riff.... It'll be our "Southwest" trip... hit up some wheelin and meet people... Lets hope we get this worked out, and can make it unlike last year for all of us.
Pete

Pedro, dont tempt me like that, I'd seriously consider tagging along also.
Check out the Dresser Memorial run of memorial weekend
www.memorial4x4.org we already plan on going to that, and jamming4jim is also as well as he plans on Moab.

Matt Adams

Hey it looks like Imay be going alone or if not alone one of my buddies from school may come, but either way there will be room if you want!

Limit

Is there going to be a limit of people signing up this year? Also, how fast, and how many rooms are available still? Any clue?
Pete

Pete, we are not limiting the signup this year. Last year a bunch of people registered to make sure they'd have a spot "just in case" and didn't show up; meanwhile those that could have really come had been blocked out by the noshows. Once our runs get up to fifty real vehicles that really show up then we'll deal with the BLM from then on, but it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully with signup pressure off, only those who really plan on coming will be the ones to register and we'll have a realistic idea of who is really going to show up. I was very disappointed last year in all of those who muscled in a registration, then didn't inform me that they weren't going to show up, and thereby prevented those who could attend from doing it.

Call for rooms. I am sure there are still many left and will be so for quite awhile.

hey every one these are the Trails I would like to run this Year. What trails is every one else going to try and Run this year?

Golden Spike

Fins and Things

Top of The World or Another moderate Trail.

Gerald and Rick, et al.

I'm sorry to announce that I will NOT be able to make it to this years trek to Moab. Cindy and I will be moving that weekend.

Please remove my name from the sign-up roster (sniff)..
I didn't make reservations anyplace, so sorry i can't help anybody out that way.

At LEAST i get to go to the Dresser,WI rally the week before,tho....May won't be a TOTAL loss.

Have fun, guys, and take plenty of Video!
