Mobil 1 differential fluid OK?

Going to change the rear differential fluid on our 1996 5.0L 2wd when the axle is removed. We want to use Mobil 1 synthetic.

Is the weight of Mobil 1 OK for this model year? It has a 3.73 limited slip axle. Additive needed?

I ran Mobil 1 in my diff for a couple years ( before switching to Amsoil ) and had no problems whatsoever. I never used any friction modifiers either.
