Hi, I have a dark grey 98 XLS OHV 4.0 with 37K that I bought last year in December....which had nothing to it! No fog lights...not a damn thing!!! So i am starting PROJECT AGGRESSION and i want to make it into a limited X and beyond! Here is all the applications i installed by myself since i bought it (limited and eddie baurer stock and so forth)

platinum 99 bumper w/ fog lilghts (love it, it dresses it up
bug deflector II
tornado
dual chrome inside hood lamps
ECO bubble wind deflectors with chrome edging
power mod, 10 hp gain: (removed, i think it messed my
IAC up, end up having to $140...dont want to
put it in just incase it was it....
towing mirrors
audiovox security system
wood grain steering wheel cover
wood grain radio dash insert w/ fog light switch
rear digital temperature reading with sensor for the
rear passengers...so i know the temperature
back there...(half way done installing it)
dual visors with lighted vanity mirrors

extended middle console with rear controls
digital hvac controls (in the middle of wiring it)
message center (in the middle of wiring it)
leather seat covers (is there ones for the rear seats?)

maybe a lowering kit, dont know yet...i like it high im still
arguing with it...cant get a lift...my wife is
afraid that it will flip!!! hehehehe

I believe thats all for now...if anyone out there that has an eddie baurer or a limited X...let me know what i am missing besides the etac memory system and heated mirrors...too complicating and dont need it...and any others who have mods that i havent explained above that i would be interested in...feel free to list your mods!!!

-Automatic Ride Control (as an option on '95-'98 EBs and LTDs, rear-leveling only on '99-'01s)

i dont really want heated seats, since im going to New Mexico in Sept., i would have liked it last year when it got 45 below 0...in alaska...
for the steering wheel...i would need all the connectors, steering wheel, and steering column...too much of a hassle! and plus i dont think it would really help when i get my dvd player, you know what i mean...
automatic ride control: i think that would be too complicating to put in...so much to it...i would love dont get me wrong, it would be nice to have...
the power antenna...with the chrome base to it...i forgot to add that to my wish list...

oh and mine is a 4x4...and a v6 is cheaper on gas/ insurance than a v8, though again, it would be nice to have with 50 more hp...

I am an Aerospace Ground Equipment journey mechanic...the reason why i have so much time is that i work graveyard shift and there is really nothing to do some of the time, so i bring things in and keep myself busy, and also, i stay up all the time....24-48 hours of the time....i think sleep is a waste of time!!! but when i do, i sleep like a baby, hehehe....

about the tornado, yea, i figured that out, the tornado does nothing!!!!....the air twirls like it supposed to however since the air intake tube is curved...right after the bend, the air straightens back up, so yea, it is useless....("Are you interest in buying it?" hehehehe)

Tell me more about installing the factory keyless entry deal. Did you get it from a Ford dealer? If so, how much?? Is it pretty easy to put in? My buddy just got an '00 F150 and it didn't some with it! ^%#&@

I got it off of a 99 x at a junkyard...$15...now, i am just waiting on my freakin' repair service cd which will have all the wiring diagrams to tell me what wire goes to what and where...i got the keyless entry is so i can use the autolamp feature on my auto dim/lamp rear view mirror and installed a few weeks back, or else that feature will not work because the white/purple wire goes to the rap module (keyless entry) so it can bypass that so it wont trigger the alarm when the auto lamps are on...hence, voltage is still going thru the circuit and will be detected, that is why that wire must go to that...either that or put 2 relays in...but, i was thinkin'....keyless entry and auto lamp or auto lamp?....KEYLESS ENTRY AND AUTO LAMP! hehehe
