mod to stock air filter box

iv read where drilling holes in the stock air breather box adds a few horses and improves performance . is this true and does it help

technically yes it would help performance, but u have to be very careful in insuring that u drill the holes before the filter, ive been looking at Diablo5969's X and if concluded thats the only way to do any breathing help without buying a performance kit our going very custom.

I just did it today to my Ex. Yeah , it is much more snappy and responsive. I like that , but it also is MUCH more noisey. I don't like that.
