I first purchased the "Knight Rider light" from JC Whitney. They are aroun $35 dollars.
Once i got the light, you carefully crack open the red cases around the lights (on the light bar).
once you have all eight casings off, you will notice there are 8 regular bulb lights....
Get the casings, and drill a 3/16 hole into the center of each one.
Once this is done, obtain all 8 winshield washer LED's.
First get a cutting bit on the dremel (like to cut metal...it cuts plastic also with ease)
Carefully cut away the plastic on the washer LED and pull the actual LED out.
Now you have 8 drilled holes in the red coverings, and 8 leds.
Now, with the LED's...push one through each 3/16" hole. If they do not fit perfectly in...enlarge the hole a tad with a small knive (before drilling any holes, make sure you know the LED's size...i know from expeirence that the white LED's for the winshield washer lights are ALOT smaller than the green leds!!!!)
Aftre you push the LED's in..silcone the back side where you push them in. This will make it water proof.
Once you have done this, let them dry. Now to the actual light bar.
Cut off all 8 bulbs, as high up as you can...
After this is done, strip about 1/2" of the leds wire (you may need to cut some of the wire off before doing this)
Find out what wires are + and - and carefully wrap the wires around the wires where the bulb was connected. Sodder them in place and put electrical tape over them carefully.
Put the caps back on and use tape to keep them in place (they will be loose)
Now silcoen them back up real good...and your set!!!
HOpe this helps..
