Monroe Reflex - OMG!

I had a price for all 4 of these quoted to me in Iowa (in-law's home town) for $120 un-installed.

Over here in Chicago, I can't get them cheaper than $160/axel installed.

LOL - that's a $200 difference (minus my labor for installing them)!

actually, you must look at the labor cost..... out here, our shop charges $85.00 an hour for labor...... all in all the prices turn out to be about the same.....

i got 4 monroe reflex shocks for $99 + tax (total $105). i did the install myself.

but i bought them over a year ago.

Alright leenjen, I've done my breaks and change my erl all the time, I've even done a Safari Bar - what do you think, can I put my shocks in?

I got monroe reflex shocks for $120 and paid $100 to have them installed. I didnt want to be bothered installing them. 2 of them are easy but the other 2 I couldnt even see the mounts let alone get my hands in there.

just get a haynes manual and take your time. have a friend help if you want. it isnt that hard. i would rather do it myself then pay someone else to do it.

OK SO the best price I can find on the net for these is $49.95 ea. Where can I get them for cheaper? I see that someone got the for $25.00 ea Is that right ?
