moon roof

does anyone know a place to get the moon roof glass... my explorer is "missing" it....... anywho... need to get it, but the only place around here is to go to a dealer..... about $800.... plz give me another idea

If you mean the factory 1st gen sunroof, look for a Limited 93-94 model. There are some parts here for sale. You should be able to find one fairly easily. Good luck,

I've got a 92 Eb that has a moonroof as well... you should be able to locate one at a bone yard. Otherwise dealer... :thumbdwn:

Here's one

There was another auction that ended a couple days ago for one for like $20. Just keep your eyes open. Also check with the guys on the board or on ebay that are parting out explorers and might not have listed everything they have

i feel your pain, i swear it did not rain for 4 months. then it breaks and rains WTF>

but check all the yards near you. mine is $20 for any glass. but i had to get a use one for $200. but i got the frame and drain lines.

but make sure one get the right one, mine is detachable, but the used one was not so i changed the hinges so i can take it off. good luck
