at the moment the pontiac GTO comes from australia(america stuffed up the look)
toward the end of the year the 4door version is on the way(pontiac G8)
so if your thinking about buying a car with a bit of grunt you may want to wait and test drive one
goes like a rocket and will out handle any american built family sedan and a lot of your sports cars

Looks like it won't be bad. The rear end in the 6-speed manual is geared too high. 3.27 It's going to take the grunt away from the 6.0L.

how much grunt do you want

The HSV Clubsport R8 E Series gets to 100 in…. wait for it… 0-100 km/hr in 4.96 seconds for the manual and 5.05 for the auto. My god, to give you so perspective on how fast that is, a brand new 2006 model BMW M3 that costs $140,000 will get from 0-100 in 5.2 seconds. So there you have it folks. HSV have made a car faster than an M3!
