hi all just back from florida. we were going to keep count of the explorers we saw but ran out of fingers and toes in 20 min so gave up.anyway i still have a set of free chrome wheels if any body wants them and can collect from fareham hants po14. cheers chris

Top gear trash every American car- Its fair to say that in the past you guys never made them to do corners! BUT now they are on par with the finest.....well they must be- take the Explorer as an example!

I'm not knocking the UK by any means..It's one place in the world I've always wanted to go BUT I've seen MANY MANY Jaguars w/ paint chipping, trim falling off, etc. Land rovers as well..are now known for their reliability. That's the one thing that pisses me off about that show..

I dont think TopGear trashes every American car, watch the SF-Bonneville episode just a few weeks ago, they praised the ZR1, CTS-V, and the Challenger SRT8

I watch Top gear for the entertainment really what they say about cars is not taken seriously!
I met James May- he is a miserable bloke, he uses the same cattery as we do when we go away.
Jags and infact most British cars from the 70s and 80s did infact rust big time! I used to have a boy racer escort and that was tricked out by me, heads skimmed, deep cams and better springs- the works..but the body was a bugger and really was just filler and rust converter in the end!
Were I live I see a few Merc G wagons, isuzu troopers and a ot of range rovers, the top end......I know of about 5 other Explorers that I see often and flash....NO they dont flash back- miserable sods!

sorry to get back to top gear but they did love the new gt40 with the revamped f150 engine and he said he was impressed with the cornering ............. also they trash a few british cars too for example the episode with the morris minor.........best place for them
