mountaineer bumper question

will a mountaineer front bumper fit on a explorer front bumper?

I don't think you could double them up! lol
But you would think the mounting would be the same..dunno.

They should be the same. If i remember they have the same bolt pattern to bolt on ( just 4 bolts) that's if your putting a mountaineer bumper on your explorer and not doubling up lol. I have a bumper swap on my 1995 Explorer, currently using a 2000 Explorer Sport front bumper. It bolted right up. So it should be the same for an Mounty.

wow, I didn't realize a 2000 would bolt up to a 95 or newer. I like the 2000 bumper better, think I will look for that one,

Yup, all second gen bumpers can fit a second gen.

Explorer 95-2001 bumpers are all held in with 4 bolts. Feel free to swap to a newer bumper.
Mountaineer bumpers are the same.
