Finally got a new switch board drawn out, and about to get switches when I realized i had one more issue to tackle. Im looking at mounting the panel (2" widex3" long) between the visors, about 3 inches above the window, get my drift? Anyways, the toggle switches will mount about 2 inches deep, and i was wondering about clearence issues, will I have that much room to mount them? Cutting through that layer of sheet metal shouldnt be a problem, as long as i can get the wires out again. The switches, 4 of them are for a light bar on the top, so everything will be kept in a relativly small area, easy to work on. While im at it anyone know the best way to remove the headliner, so i can get in there to work? Ive taken a crack at it but sadly im sure it wasnt the ebst way to go about things.
