I just got one of those mr clean washers that attaches to my lawn hose. The Auto-dry sounded awesome but i was a bit apprehensive. For $20 i got the starter pack with soap and water filter. Washed the explorer and when i was finished not a single water spot remained. I was impressed.

I have heard good stuff about this system.

The only negative I have heard was it not being very cost effective if you wash your vehicle frequently.

Yeah I've heard great things as well.

It works good for the first couple times then leaks like a POS.

I love this thing... Like you I was apprehensive too. But seeing how my expo is black water spots annoy me. But it truly works like it says. I just wish the soap and filters weren't so expensive.

I have one of these and I'm not sure if i need a new filter or not but I washed my 87 Monte Carlo SS (black) and it left water spots all over it. It also leaks....I wasted my time washing with it that day....Probably should look into trying it again with a new filter?

Who knows. It did work good the first time I used it lol

The filter is really where the spot-free drying comes from, so your filter is probably bad.

This thing is good, but notorious for leaking, I'd rather just hand wash it with a sponge and take a chamois to it to dry her off.

The best way to use it--

Wash with whatever soap and rinse with the Mr. Clean unit. Then, use a leaf blower to dry the Expy. This works best in the summer, when it's nice and hot out. Plus, it does a fantastic job of getting those drips that show up after your first drive--you know, the water that hides in the nooks and crannies. :)

I chucked mine in the garbage after it started leaking, now i just use my pressure washer.

I use the system myself. I especially like it for washing the Dodge 3500 duallie. It saves a ton of wipe down time on that thing.

It seems pretty efficent to me. I'm still on my first replacement cartridge and I've washed the Dodge and Mustang several times.
