I am trying to remove the rear mud flaps on my 95 xlt. So far it hasnt been easy... they are attached by 3 screws into the plastic body and they appear to be encased in rubber. Any advice on removing the flaps?

Any ideas at all?

so you've removed the screws? or no? Need a little more description on what you've done/what hasn't worked and whatnot.
I would think just remove the screws and pull the flaps off.

The flaps on mine are held on by the good old push pins. I'm not sure if this is what you have.

Im almost positive they are screws, but its tricky because they are drilled into the plastic, and the head appears to be made of rubber... and the car wheel is in the way of getting a drill in.

.....

EDIT: Special thanks to Rodeo Joe. I took a closer look and they did indeed turn out to be push pins. They came off clean. thanks alot!

take off the wheel then drill them out.

sounds like a push-pin to me... in which case you just yank 'em out, basically.
