Wow...no opinions???

What size tires do you have on there? It looks like there's plenty more room in the wheel well to go with thicker side wall tires... just a thought. :)

Very nice, TheoneCK, looks good.

i think 22's look good on the latest gen. i like it all cept the bug flector, if you wanna keep it you might wanna look into getting it painted silver to match the body

looks good guy....keep up the good work...:chug:

Looks good. It needs to be lowered a little now.

I thought the same thing once I finally saw the wheels on. I should have gone with a lil bigger tire, but heard that was the size of tire to go with... so I did.

silversport Looks good. It needs to be lowered a little now.

I do wanna lower it, but am not sure on how much I am able to. I dont have the money for airbags right now because of school, but am looking for some coilovers. Any idea of a place that sells them at a decent price? Or other ways to lower it? It is a 4x4 also.

Thanks to everybody for the compliments. I wish I had better pictures....

Well I had the Explorer lowered this weekend! Looks great. Took my friends about 3 hours to do. I went with the Ground Force lowering springs. I will post pics up soon. Just need to get a few other small things done such as the blue G2 caliper paint, painting the wheel wells, and the blue underbody lights.

How much lower were you able to go?

Did you know that, and this is from an old school lowering trick, if you put taller tires it would appear that your truck is a lot lower than it really is. You can't go too crazy on the Explorer though. Maybe an inch taller is the most you could get away with.

Check out mine. It has 0.6 inch taller tires with only 2.25" drop but it appears a lot lower.

It was a 1.6" drop although I hope it settles a lil more.

I wont be buying new tires for a while. At least not for the 22s I wont. I just spent $1400 for a set of four and only have about 1K miles on them.

Looks good. I would however definately reccomend highly to lower it (already done), get rid of that bug guard!!! Dont bother painting it just get rid of it. And then a monotone paint job would really smooth that truck out alot. The vehicle looks really clean as is, but those few steps would clean it up that much more.

My front drop wasn't as smooth as I hoped.. being that my driver side settled almost an entire inch lower than the passanger. Was just doing some premature lowering before Monday and see how much it would settle so we can do the 3" blocls on Monday, gonna fix it all then anyways. You definately gotta get that rig lowered some more. ;)

Might want to start upgrading some suspension with the low pro tires and lowering.

:bounce: Ah ha, streeters are starting to take over the site, life is good, drop that puppy without question

The place is getting flooded with some really good looking Streeters while I was away!

Great looking X's! Welcome to the site Streeters World!

Those pictures are before the drop. I havent had time to get new pictures since it has been lowered. Definitly looks better. I will have some new pictures as soon as I get the calipers and wheel wells painted and detail it.
