My 2001 Sport Trac doesn't start.

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to this site! I have a 2001 sport trac and it stopped running, the engine still turns but doesn't seem to catch, I've bled the lines, checked the fuel pump, and replaced the fuel filter does anybody have any other ideas of what could be the problem? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank You

does the theft light go out?

does the check engine light come on? key on engine off.

do you have spark? fuel pressure?

take off a plug wire and use an extra plug, see if it has spark ?

Yes the theft light goes out and check engine light comes on, I have spark but have yet to check the fuel pressure

listen for the fuel pump too, by the back wheel drivers side,

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the 2001-2005 Sport Trac section.

Check the inertia switch under the dash, right side footwell area. If the red button isn't popped up then smack it several times until it pops up and then mash the button down again. Those switches give a lot of problems on Explorers for some reason.
