Have your motor blow up 2 more times before you hit 12K or 12 months. Either that or develop a problem with your new motor that they can't fix after three attempts before 12K/12 months.

thats a lot of motor blowing up

Lemon law

Hey Robert, Here in Hawaii our Lemon Law is different: A vehicle may qualify as a "lemon" when one or more substantial (serious safety or nonconforming) defects have been examined or repaired at least once or the motor vehicle has been out-of-service at least thirty (30) cumulative days for repair during the Lemon Law rights period(i.e., whichever comes first- the expiration of the manufacturer's express warranty period, 24,000 miles or two (2) years after the original delivery of the motor vehicle.) Is it different in other states?

Teddynyc1, I'm sorry to hear things like that on a brand new car. It really sucks!!! But then again, every manufacturers have their share of lemons. Hope everything will be fixed.

Here's a link to state specific lemon laws.
