As i come to a stop light i brake and the brake light works perfect. But when i need to make a turn, i hit the turn signal switch and it works fine. But the next time i need to stop the brake light won't work. And it happens constantly. The police has stopped me twice for this. Someone help me please. Thanks!

First guess would be brake light switch on the pedal. Mine was broken when I bought the car. I think a new one is less than $15 and really simple to swap out. Just look under your dash at the brake pedal and you'll see it.

Ck the wiring at the brake light switch, it breaks and makes intermittent contact.

X2

that was my problem. the switch was okay so for me it was a free fix the best kind to have.
