My 95 explorer's engine is making noise....

As soon as I start the engine this loud running sound happens. The noise increases when I turn the a/c on. Can anyone help with suggestions please? I checked my fluids, spark plugs, and hoses. Everything appeared fine. This noise started from no where a couple days ago and it's getting worse. Thanks

I'm not sure what "loud running sound" would sound like, but if it gets louder when you turn on the A/C, it may have something to do with the A/C system, but it could easily have something to to with your serpentine belt. When you turn on the A/C it will put more drag on your belt.
