My Explorer started bucking the other day while driving around 50 or 60 mph...it is a slight hesitation ...not while accelerating, just while driving. I have checked the usual subjects, fuel and air filter (replaced both 3 weeks ago), fuel injector cleaner (one bottle so far...), and had some improvement..but not fixed. I do not want to take it to the mechanic yet, but I am not sure where to go next...Please give me some options as to what this might be. Thanks in advance for your help...

Post here, or hit my email at Potter@F150World.net....thanks.

Welcome!

Try cleaning the MAS, mass airflow sensor.

I agree about checking the MAS unit. Also check over the plug wires...looking for cuts, frays, burns, etc. Possibly check out the spark plugs, one could also go weak/bad on you and give a stumble.
Let us know what you find!!!

What motor do you have?

I have the V6 4.0L engine...I have checked the plugs and wires (I just replaced them too) and they seem fine..nothing visibly wrong. I will check the MAS later tonight...any other ideas?
