MY cd player, and harness need some help

Ok I got a CD player, it didnt come with a thing to mount it in the place first off ,and didn't come with a plate to go on the outside to go around the face plate. But thats not my problem right now. I unhooked all the wires from the old harness, so I could hook it up to fit my harness. I don't know HOW to hook the new wires up!!! Can anyone help me? So I have the harness to hook up to the cd player part of the harness, but i can't seem to match the wires up. I also don't know where this one plug goes on the cd player. Its the square thing that plugged in to my stock tape player.

If you bought an aftermarket head unit, you need a few things to make your life easier. First, you need the dash kit to mount the smaller radio in the dash opening. The dash kit does not come with the radio, so it must be purchased separately. Next you need a Ford adapter wiring harness, which also must be bought separately. It plugs directly into your stock wiring. The only wires you have to splice and the wires for the new radio plug (comes with the radio) and the wires for the Ford harness adapter. These wires are all color coded so you can't mess it up. It sounds to me like you are missing some pieces you need to do this job correctly.

Ok thanks to both you guys. See I did buy an installation kit, and a wire harness. I DONT have those other 2 things that should have come with the cd player (trim peice) and the metal thing to mount the cd player inside. My wires on the new harness, and the ones on the harness to hook up with the cd player, dont match up, hopefully that diagram will help.

Well now there is more trouble. I had to go pick up some skis today, and I can't stand to not have a radio. So I put the old stock one back in. I didnt put it all the way in so it would clip, and be hard to get out, just enough not to fall out. I plugged everything up, and to my surprize, it doesn't come on. Whats going on here! I saw a couple of sparks last night, but i don't think i blew anything. Help!

I've got three pieces of advice
1) stop buying HOT stereo equipment, usually a mounting sleeve is missing and wires are hacked.
2) you probably blew your fuse
3) unplug your battery or take out radio fuse BEFORE working on this.
I'm not accusing you of being a thief but no retailer will sell a sleeve because hot goods are usually the only stuff that needs them. Also unplugging fuse will eliminate the sparks. You have to live to learn, trust me I've zapped myself plenty of times. Not fun but you look like Einstein afterwards.

Alright, but I really don't think I bought it "hot". I won it on a auction on ebay. The guy took it out of his tacoma. Circut city installed and uninstalled it for him. It shows that on the box that was included with the cd player... the guy told me, when they uninstalled it, they didnt give him a sleeve.

Ok, well I got an offer on a stock FORD cd player. I think I will see how it sounds, and probably sell this JVC. But I have a question. Stupid me forgot to dissconnect the battery while trying to hook up wires, and I got some sparks. Well The fuse for the tape player thing oviously blew. And when I open my doors, no lights come on. Can you tell me what fuses I probably blew? So I can get that stuff back working, thanks guys.
