Is this an isolated event? Seriously, it sounds like you accidentally hit the door unlock button on your keyless remote in your pocket or something. I'm not trying to be insulting or anything. Do you have a small child that likes to push buttons? I'm just asking because I HAVE personally experienced this.

The problem has started again it has been ok for a month...ugh i hate this ex

On my Ex;

The rear tailgate door... watch the exact position of the outer handle. If its NOT exactly hortizontal, the 5th door lock will automatically unlock (from the locked position) after setting "lock all" from either d/f or p/f door.

Took me a few head scratches to figure that out.

Sweet i will check it out :thumbsup:

one time at school i had the door constantly unlock when i parked in one particular space in a parking lot (near a dorm). turns out a friend was using a weird piece of equipment on the same frequency and every once in a while it would hit the right modulation

I wouldnt suspect this is your problem, but it was a funny story

In my last exp, I left the window down and the controls got soaked. I'd lock the door with the remote, and then they would unlock on their own. Then they would lock on their own. They would keep doing it randomly over and over. I would drive down the road and they would continually lock and unlock. I was afraid to leave the window up because the remote stopped working. I took the controls out and srayed them with contact cleaner and it solved the problem.

Did your window and door controls get wet?

Sometimes they get wet when i open the window and some snow falls in,but i brush it off the controls,could be the problem though,thanks

I opened the glass window and the 5th door and then closed them and it has not done it sense,kinda weird :scratch: so i guess it got to do with the 5th door

Good chance you have the old "corroded splice issue" .... although it usually results in non-function.... BUT depending on how bad the splice is broken, it could be sending "false grounds" to the unlock relays.

ok is that in the panel someplace?

looks like you'll have to start following the wire harness like I had to, that wire has a couple of splices in it that are shrink wrapped. over time vibrations will ware a small hole in that will allow moisture in and create a short to ground,since all our systems are switched on the ground side........

my short was under the carpet ,under the drivers side rear seat

lots of post on the "splice" and "locks"... including a "good one" already posted in this thread... there are others with pictures of the "investigation".
