So my brother bought a 88 b2. he needed a beater while he was droppin a 5.0 in his 91 ranger.. this past christmas eve it was stolen out of the driveway aroun 3:20 in the morning.. the thing was pretty shot and never liked to steer. and the J/O who stole it found out the hard way...he hopped a curb doin 70 and met a telephone poll.....

the rear axle is bent not the frame...the body is lifted off the frame the bumper is level!!

not a scratch...... the b2 was a total loss but my bro is now driving a 2002 ranger with 17,000 miles on it he got it for $13,000 all sed and done. hell of a deal if you ask me....the kid who stole it has stolen over 35 cars in the last 2 months, all recovered but no hard evidence. the cops were in persuit when this happened so he only got 1 count of GTA. The most f-ed uop part of the whole thing is my bro graduated with the kid. BTW the reason im posting this now is i just figured out how to post pics via photo bucket...lol

they hold up pretty damn good dont they! If he hit the pole on the side like that hes actually lucky he hit a pole because pretty soon at that speed the BII + sideways = multiple flips

Glad they caught the moron, too bad he took a BII out, he coulda killed somebody else too

BII = requires driving lessons before you just go screamin around! thats for sure!

it was still runnin when the cops pulled him out...he would of kept goin but the d-shaft blew out.

Easy fix....get some plastic sheeting for the window, some bondo, maybe a can of spray paint... :roll:

i wantd to fix the d-shaft and drive it to school after christmas break but my old man sed no because the tire was flat and it didnt have a mirror.
