Hi every body. Last Sunday I got my first Explorer. A 2008 XLT all white with a 4.0L. I'm a loyal Ford fan but this is my first Explorer. I had a few cars in my past, mostly Mustangs. A 68 Mustang coupe, 67 Mustang coupe, Economize 150, Fiat 600, 85 1/2 Mustang SVO, 91 Mustang LX 4 cil., 90 Mustang LX 5.0L, 89 Mustang LX 5.0L, 05 Mustang GT, 10 Shelby GT 500, 02 Subaru Impreza WRX and 09 Subaru Impreza STI. I still have the 68 Fiat 600, 851/2 SVO, 90 5.0L, 09 STI and the 10 GT500. And now have the 08 Explorer to carry my two babies.
Now I want to add a few things to my XLT because it came completely plain. I came to this forum to learn how to improve my XLT. I still have a lot to read yet but I'm reading as much as I can. Love to work on my cars but have to learn a lot more to work on my Explorer.
Here is what I'm planning on doing so if anyone can help me out and point me in the right direction please do.
Add dual headrest DVD players. Already ordered and on his way here.
Add cargo cover from Ford.
Change accessories belt.
Add floor and cargo rubber mats.
Add back up camera.
Change radio with GPS/DVD head unit.
Change cabin air filter.
Add seats covers.
Change wheels. Maybe.
Replace tires.
Add direct connection for my Valentine One.
Add key pad entry system.
Buy a couple of backup keys.
