My ground wire is staying hot, help.

Hi, my ground wire in my 91 xlt is staying hot so it is draining the battery. It is not the alternator. Something is staying on or thinking something is staying on, any ideas? Please help.

I had my glove box light stuck on before. I think it was about to start a fire it got so hot.

What do you mean yor ground wire is hot??? Do you mean that it is physically hot, or that there is voltage that you can measure (and if so, where are you measuring it from)??

Need more info....
