Hi All,
I had hernia surgery yesterday and haven't been doing much. To answer some of the questions, i do not use a voltage regulator. I use neutral plates. I stack the cell with 9 plates starting negative, 3 neutral, positive, 3 neutral, negative. I have no need for a voltage regulator. My cell only gets warm not hot. So far i have not had to add any water and i can fell a difference in power when i turn it off. I have not filled up with gas yet so i will know what my mileage is as soon as i do. We will see if i do better then 17 mpg.
That ebay cell at 200 degrees is way to hot. My amps have dropped to twenty after 3 days and my voltage is 5.70 volts. My cell runs cool enough that i can house it in plastic, pvc or lexan. As soon as my parts come i have started building an electronic throttle control with pulse width modulation to increase on demand amperage for more instant gas output when you hit the gas petal. I plan on tying it to my throttle position sensor. Will let every one know how that works. I am still working on my website. Any web site builders out there that would like to help me out would be more then welcome.
I will post more when i feel a little better. Woke up in a lot of pain so i that i would check out the forum. My pain pill is starting to kick in.
Later,
Barry
