1991 EFI Suzuki Samurai that started life as a 2wd drive.

Toyota axles front and rear.

Elocker (spool) in the rear
ARB in the front.

5.29 gears, front and rear.

Dual Toyota transfer cases, 4.7:1 in the rear case, inchworm adapter, 2.28 in the front case; 10.716 ratio when in low-low. this is using a Toyota w56 transmission, with a 3.93 first gear; this gives a 225:1 crawl ratio. Yup, no clutch feathering - you just let it out, and it goes! And you can stand on the brakes, it will slow down, but it won't kill the engine.

35" MTR's, on 15x8 rims. Even at 12lbs of air, it's still too tall for the garage.. :D

I'll be at Truckhaven next week for New Years. I'll be getting some action shots for you then.

Niiicce Tom!! Can't wait to see the pix of it playing. My Zuk's getting there slowly. I'm going with a SOA and YJ springs (Rocky Road kit), re-gearing the xfer case (and thinking about adding a second behind it), Lock-rite lockers and 31 x 10.5 Pro-Comp Mud Terrains on 15 x 7 Rock Crawler rims. For now I'm gonna stick with the stock Zuk axles (that's why I'm using the 31's). I'm also running the stock 1.3 carbureted motor. If I kill that, I'm gonna upgrade to the 1.6 EFI SOHC motor from a Tracker.

VERY nice, Tom!
What engine, stock or a Toyota? Did you cut down the axles, or are they full (Toyota) width? Are they wider than Suzuki axles? Winch coming? How about a passenger seat? :D

JD - 4.89:1 tcase gears are on sale at one of the zuk vendors now..With the 31's, it would be good. Petroworks http://www.petroworks.com

RangerX - it's a stock, samurai 1.3 liter engine with EFI. The EFI is the only reason I kept it. When I kill the 1.3, I'll be looking for a 1.6/16V for some pep!

The axles are stock toys, 1985 front, 1986+ rear (it's 3" wider than 1985 rear).

The winch is in the garage.. I might get to it before truck haven, I have to first get the cage in and a few other things done (like, OBA for the ARB (engine driven compressor!), rocker protection, and misc other things.

That thing looks tough:D

i'm scared of that thing........

Lookin', good :smoke:

NICE!

Looks good Tom, are you sure there is going to be room in there for you to fit?????

Nice:D Is there only one front seat in there?
