My rear speakers do not work.

I have 1997 mercury mountainer with a jbl luxuary audio system but my back speaker will not work, yes I am a women so please be kind I am trying to fix my own radio. thanks

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the audio & navigation section.

You need to first check to see if there is anything coming out of them. Fade the speakers to the back and then have someone check to see if there is anything coming out.

all others do work except the one in the very back by what appears to be an amp and the large metal box which someone said was either a crossover with a sub or the actuall receiver. Don't know what I am talking about just repeating what my neighbor said:
