My speedometer stopped working.

so the speedometer was workin fine going a little less than 60 on my way home untill i got about half way to my house adn then the speedometer started to move back and forth and then stayed at zero, what might be wrong with it?

thanks for the welcome got any ideas wat might be wrong with it... its a 97 sport 4X4 with a 4in lift and it has the 4.0

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 95-01 section. Did you check the fuses? Does your cruise control & ABS work? Do you have erratic shifting on your transmission?

The cruise and everythig else works fine even the transmission but thanks again and I will check the fuse
