Welcome to this forum! Each section has an icon on the upper laft hand side to post a new thread. I suspect that the alignment might be slightly off, so it's not noticeable, but could cause an uneven wear pattern. Alignment consists of:
1. Toe in & out.
2. Caster.
3. Camber.
If the tires are over inflated or under inflated, it might affect the wear pattern too.

ok so can I check this at my own shop witha tape measure or do I need a shop to do this?

I had a problem with the inside of the front drivers tire that had worn very badly. I pulled the tire off, and my outer tir-rod end was just about ready to brake off. I replased the tie-rod end and rotated the tires and now the front has almost no wear on them after about 10k miles.

Thanx guys now i know where to start...jack it up and check for tie rod wear and ball joint wear. Further comment Friday on my progress.:salute:
