97 V8 Explorer 128k miles in upper michigan. It has a few quirks.... went through the sqeaky front end situation.....a needle greaser took care of that....new brakes and rotors all around.... a rear axle seal started leaking and was replaced by me....and a idler pulley bearing went to hell and was squealing... 15 bucks and 10 minutes in the parking lot later and its all better. i just wonder how long the trans and motor will actually last....

the 5.0 and the tranny in the 5.0 will live longer then you..lol

my 96 4.0 has 83,855 miles on it now..so in about a year 1/2 i should hit 84k
