looking at basic kits up to about 100 hp. Which one would you get?

I was looking at the NOS 5115 for the Mustang, will this work?

Where are some good places to buy?

Thanks,

Jim

a 5115 Mustang Kit will work just fine :)

Just be carefull and upgrade the usual things. The Explorer 5.0's have Hyperutectic pistons that don't play well with the slightest of detonation.

If you take the nitrous route and plan on 100HP I'd recommend the following things.

#1. Ignition system upgrades, MSD DIS, and FOR SURE Copper spark plugs. Nitrous hates platium.

#2. Fuel pump upgrade. Although may not be needed but its cheap, and cake to replace.

Also I'm not sure on how it will respond with the ****y factory headers. I'd recommend doing a catback exhaust.

What pump can I put in? Is it in-tank like the Mustang?

Yes, you can use the same aftermarket pumps for hte mustang.

Yes you can. I'd recommend a 255lph. I've ran a 190lph in my stang forever with the numbers I'm making, but since the 255's are like 10$ more might as well go with a bigger one :)

Search on ebay. They are getting pretty cheap.

Can one of ya'll direct me in the route of copper plugs? What is the model # also if you would happen to know?

Any "plain" plug is a copper plug. Non-plat motorcrafts. Ask the parts guy to give you one heat range colder for your application.

All the plugs for my Mustang end with a C (Motorcraft) ASFW-22C...something like that.

for your GT-40 heads you want autolite 24's
