On Navajos the front flashers are located in the lower part of the bumper and are only visible by others drivers directly in front of you. Unlike Explorers, the corner lights (next to the headlights) are only parking lights and do not flash.

I want to trash the bumper flashers and route their wires to the side marker lights. The bulb sockets are a different size and I'm having trouble locating new sockets that support dual element bulbs.

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions?

Hay CHH, Most auto supply stores have an assortment of light socketts. It isnt easy to make a hole in the plastic light body to accept the socket.
If you wanted the marker light to flash when the flashers do and still be marker lights you can do the following.
Connect the ground wire of the marker light to the hot lead of the flasher bulb. This will make the marker light flash with the flasher.
