This is my first attempt at communications with what I assume is called a Thread. I just purchased a new 2013 Ford Explorer Limited which I am very excited about. I have been working with computers since 1961 but I find that the Touch system is not necessarily intuitive. I would like to use the Sync with my iphone 5 to access the addresses in my iphone's phone list, but have no idea if that is possible. If it is possible I would appreciate some help.

I'm not familiar with the iphones. I just have a standard cell with a qwerty keyboard. When I paired my phone with the bluetooth setup, I believe it asked me if I wanted to download my phonebook. I replied YES and it transferred all my contacts. The phone pairing is covered in the MyFord Touch, MyLincoln Touch Supplement.

A helpful hint; enter your vehicle model and year in the vehicle specs in your profile so it will show in the left hand column where your forum name shows. That will be helpful to members when addressing any concerns or questions you may have in the future. Not all answers necessarily apply to all models.

There are phones capable of transferring addresses to navigation, but the iPhone seems to be a little bit trickier because of the USA field. Some MAC users have said you can delete USA and re-import the addresses to your phone so MyFord Touch will recognize them as valid.

How do I get the Nav system to save the location I am in to My Favorites?
