Need advice on new tires for a 99 Eddie Bauer 4X4

I currently have the Goodyears that came with the truck. Have you maintained the Goodyears or gone with another brand? I had Yokohama A/T's on my Grand Cherokee and Montero, so that is what I am familiar with. Big O is having a deal, up to 40% off on tires for the next few weeks. Any suggestions? 99.9% of my time is spent on road with the other .1% in snow in the local LA mountains. So I need a good road tire that will be also in the snow/rain. What do you like and why?

Would your recommendation be different if I lived in Colorado or New England (read alot of snow)?

BFGoodrich Long trails. Excellent tires. Last a long time, last set had 74000 on them and they are great in all conditions. I live in MN so I have to deal with lots of ice/snow.
