i did a search, first off, and diddnt find anything exactly like my question. im currently running the shackle and spacer lift, with a set of 31" A/T tires. i want to go bigger, and am considering the superlift 5.5. i want to run 33's, and i have nothing against doing a body lift instead. i do most of my driving on the road, back and forth from college, so on road driveability is a must. i dont need to do 100 or anything, but maintaining 70 or so on the highway is necessary. i dont do much rock crawling (cause there isnt any here). mostly mud and trail riding. no SAS, and nothing too expensive. im considering the superlift mostly due to price. thanks for advice.

If you just want to fit bigger tires, go body lift.

If you want increased articulation, larger tires, and a better then stock ride, then go with a stage II lift kit (extended arms) from Superlift or Skyjacker.

personally I prefer the Skyjacker, as Superlift has had their problems.

The driveabilitly of your truck will actually be improved with the right suspension lift, where it is unchanged with a bl, except you get more body roll and more "tippy" then stock..........

Also since you mentioned price, you can get away with running a James Duff 3" VR lift in addition to your spacers and shackle, for approx 5" of lift and still beable to align the truck. I would plan on going spring over in the rear however and removing the shackle.........

ill price out a james duff now. also, has anyone had any luck, or expierence at all with the rough country lifts? thanks for input. also, ive noticed on the trails around here, that by just disconnecting my sway bars, i have ample articulation for the wheeling i do, and really dont need any more.

body lift then, just be aware of the changes you are making to your center of gravity, the only advantage of a BL is larger tires...........

cool. 3 inch body it will be. thanks for info!
